The associate I spoke with was very helpful - he checked and informed me that one of my items was coming directly from the factory, rather than the store. It seems the item was temporarily out of stock, which I only found out from the merchant after I had placed the order. To his credit, the merchant kept in touch with me regularly with updates and explained that there was an unforeseen problem with his supplier. In the end, I received the item just in time for my trip, even though it arrived 9 days after I placed the order. In spite of the delay, I would definitely use this merchant again, as the price was right, the shipping was free and the delay seemed to be an unusual occurrence which was not of his making.
